An Observation From The Slipstream Team
The Tupper is an exceptionally pretty and outstanding design from Robbie Frenette (one of the great Adirondack boatbuilders).
Here’s what our team loves about the Tupper:
At cruising speed it’s playful and effortless; at hull speed it doesn’t bog down . . . at all! It reminds us of a thoroughbred running away from the field as it comes down the stretch. It’s not a racing canoe but it moves like one. A relaxed paddler will find the Tupper sensitive and rewarding. Inexperienced paddlers should expect to spend a couple of days adjusting to the beam and responsiveness.

The Tupper has
become especially
popular with kayakers
who have been
paddling sea kayaks
or touring designs
that are just too heavy.
As light as 14 pounds,
the Tupper offers that
long boat feel along
with outstanding sea-
worthy characteristics.
