NO DEPOSIT and NO OBLIGATION
UNIQUE IN THE INDUSTRY
Slipstream Policy is to never accept a deposit even on custom ordered boats. And, there’s no obligation to purchase that boat after having the opportunity to see and test paddle the boat (also applies to shipped boats but the paddler must pay shipping in both directions). And it gets even better: Slipstream regularly builds two, sometimes three, and occasionally four boats for paddlers unsure about the right choice. This Policy is especially important to paddlers traveling considerable distances to get a boat. It saves one trip to test paddle and decide which boat followed by a second trip to collect the craft — and all without a deposit or obligation to purchase anything. While Slipstream has boats in Hawaii, paddlers have driven from every other state, including Alaska, to purchase their boat. The same is true for many Canadian Provinces.
ACCOMPLISHED WORKFORCE
Part of the Slipstream Team are boatbuilders who produced Five Gold Medal Winning Boats at past Whitewater World Championships. The skillset required to manufacture ultra lightweight, yet extremely strong, canoes and kayaks capable of formidable whitewater challenges are applied to every craft produced by Slipstream. Extreme light weight no longer translates to fragility.
EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE
Enthusiastic Team members sincerely enjoy working in depth with paddlers — regularly dedicating hours to each paddler’s visit. While many paddlers chose to order a custom made boat, Slipstream maintains a substantial inventory of boats in stock for immediate sale.
PADDLERS INTERESTS FIRST
Providing the right boat for every paddler is foremost. It’s paramount to the point that paddlers are sometimes referred to competitors when the competitors product is a better fit for that paddler’s needs.
